Mr. O’ Sullivan
First and Second Class
This year we are delighted to have 17 wonderful boys and girls in our classroom, 9 in First class and 8 in Second class! We also have our amazing Special Needs Assistant, Denise in our class!
Since returning at the beginning of the year, our class has been working very hard and learning lots of new and exciting things! We love to read and write stories, as well as singing songs and reciting some of our favourite poems! We are currently doing Literacy Lift-Off in our classroom, and each of us love reading a new book every night! We are also working extremely hard on our maths and we are having so much fun.
We have been doing some beautiful artwork in the classroom and having a great time playing lots of different games in P.E. We have started Rinka with our lovely teacher Katie and we are having a super time!

Seed planting with Julie
Thanks to Julie Roche for coming to our classroom this morning to do some planting. We planted a tomato plant and some radish, lettuce and pumpkin seeds. Hopefully there will be big changes in our plants when we come back after our Easter holidays.

Farming Through the Seasons
1st and 2nd class enjoyed a talk from North Cork dairy farmer James Bourke. He told us all about work on the dairy farm during spring time, we also got to see the cows being milked by a robot. James showed us all the baby calves. It was fantastic

Trócaire Presentation
Alan from Trócaire visited our school today. He gave a very informative presentation to the children from 1st to 6th class on the work that Trócaire does throughout the world. All the children enjoyed the talk. Thank you Alan for your time.
