West Midlands Theatre Group performed ‘The Lost Emerald of Aswan’ in our school hall. This was an excellent performance dating back over 100 years ago. The children really enjoyed learning all about an exciting Egyptian themed depiction of Sir Digby and the most famous archaeologist, Howard Carter in their search for a mythical jewel destined to bring great powers.
Well done to all the boys and girls that took park in the Primary School's Cross Country event in Ummera, Macroom last Tuesday. Daniel, Annabelle and Seán all arrived home with medals, Comhghairdeas libh!
All the girls and boys in Juniors, Seniors and First Class had a lovely first morning back to school in Ms Healy’s classroom. It was great fun to see everyone again after the Summer holidays.
We welcomed three wonderful new children to school this morning; Maeve Scannell, Zuzanna Konderska and Séamus Mc Namara. We hope they will have many wonderful years here at Rylane National School.
