At the beginning of the year, 5th and 6th classes chose our charity for the year. This year we decided to pick Cork Penny Dinners for the tremendous work they do. Catriona Twomey came to visit the school and gave a presentation on the work being done by the charity to help many families throughout Cork. During the year, the children will be involved in many different fundraising activities including, Halloween dress-up, and Christmas Jumper day. All monies raised will be donated to the Cork Penny Dinners charity.
